Moving home involves many practical details. Tell us your expected dates and where you would like to stay. We ask about access, equipment and your daily routine. With your permission, we can involve your family, support coordinator and other providers. We discuss accommodation and daily support separately so you know what is included. We check that the stay is suitable and available before confirming it. Together, we keep the next stage of your move in focus.

A planned transition, not emergency housing.
Before your stay, we agree on dates, accommodation costs, accessibility and any separately funded supports. We work with you and the people you choose to keep responsibilities clear and plan your next move. MTA is available in specific circumstances and is not emergency housing. Some eligible hospital discharge pathways do not require a confirmed long term home. Your NDIA contact can confirm the funding requirements for your situation.

Questions you may have
MTA is temporary accommodation for eligible NDIS participants in specific housing transition circumstances. It is generally funded for up to 90 days. The NDIA decides whether it can be included in your plan.
