Behaviour Support
We help put your current Behaviour Support Plan into everyday practice. Our workers follow the plan written by your external behaviour support practitioner. We respect your choices and dignity. We do not assess behaviour or write specialist plans.
What support can include
We help put your current Behaviour Support Plan into practice at home and in the community. First, we learn how you communicate and what helps you feel safe. Workers follow the routines and strategies in your plan. They respect your choices and keep the records your team needs. We share information only with the people you have authorised or where the law requires it. Questions or changes to the plan go back to your external behaviour support practitioner. We do not assess behaviour, write specialist plans or change their instructions ourselves.
