What to expect

Practical learning, one step at a time.

Practical learning, one step at a time.

NDIS life skills support gives you time to learn through everyday tasks. If your goal is to prepare lunch, we might practise choosing a meal, making a shopping list and following safe kitchen steps. If you want more confidence travelling, we can practise planning an agreed journey together. Your worker can show you a task, offer prompts and step back when you want to try it yourself. We build on what you already do well and adapt the pace to your communication and support needs. There is no fixed timetable for progress. We review what feels easier, what needs more practice and which goal you want to work on next.
